I wanted to make scones a while ago as a result of the Masterchef failures. I couldn't believe they couldn't cook scones. SCONES!! I thought I was up for a challenge, but it was actually insanely easy. Whoever thought of putting a soft drink in their dough is a freakin' genius.

Don't worry, this post is not just about my successful baking experience. We went to the Tim Burton Exhibition at ACMI on Thursday night. I wanted to show you guys so many things but photography was prohibited. All I can say is, Tim Burton is insanely creative and wonderful and talented and I would like to bear his children.

I took a photo of the entrance so SUCK IT, ACMI!! HAHA!! (jk)
Anyway, after that we went to Southgate to pig out. I had Nacho Fries (nachos but replacing the nachos with fries...) and peanut butter / caramel pear / banana pavlova ice-cream. I salivated as I wrote that.

Saskia and I had a mini photo-shoot. Isn't she pretty?!
Anyway, here is The Tiger and Me, the most underrated band in the universe.

And Judith Lanigan was amazing, too!

The late night shots are amazing. Masterchef is amazing, though I guess you have to pity them as they're under a lot of stress and pressure. But true there... SCONES?! SATAY SAUCE?! The simple things can ruin people.
